importantInformation Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice. See HERE for all current swimming closures! To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window cannot be changed or canceled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Pet owners must show a current rabies certificate upon campsite registration. No more than 2 pets per site. Pets must be on a leash and may not be left unattended. Visitors must pay vehicle entrance fees and leave the park by 10 p.m. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. If you are arriving after 9 p.m. please call the park at (315) 536-3666. Failure to notify may result in losing your reservation and fees. This campground allows 1-night minimum stay. Campfires are allowed but must be tended to at all times. Campsites are spacious, level & grassy, with a picnic table & fire ring with a grill cover. Sites offer a variety of sun and shade. Tree and shrub plantings offer some privacy for between sites. Generator hours are from 9 a.m. to 11a.m. and 5 p.m. to 9p.m. only. No sites are on the lake front. Water is a shared hook-up. There is one spigot for every 4 campsites. Campers can hook-up, get the water needed and unhook for the next camper. There are also potable water spigots at either end of the dump station. Each camping loop has a comfort station with flushing toilets, mirrors, sinks and showers with hot and cold running water, and electrical outlets. The beach is connected to the camping loops by paved roadway (1 mi.) or pedestrian hiking trail (1 mi.) This park is often confused with Cayuga Lake State Park in Seneca Falls. Peak season: During peak season, a camping party and their equipment may occupy a site for a maximum of 14 continuous days. After which, the camping party and equipment must leave the site and facility for 2 days before registering again for another site. IMPORTANT: New York State Parks encourages everyone to be safe outdoors.
